Lyson prides itself in its development capabilities and constantly strives to push back the barriers of ink jet ink technology and this fact was recognised in 1998 with Lyson being awarded a coveted PEI Magazine Cool 2 Award for innovation in ink technology. With production in excess of 1 million litres of ink per year and with over 75% of the company's sales being for the overseas market, Lyson received the prestigious Queens Award for Export in 1995.

Lyson was purchased by Nazdar in 2006. Since then the Lyson brand has gone from strength to strength as the name synonymous with quality, innovation and value for ink jet inks.
