A heavy-duty lacquer designed to form a protective seal around the image that is resistant to scratches, water, and ozone attack. Being solvent-based this product will protect delicate aqueous dye-based fine art images, ensuring that inks do not run or discolour over time. It is also compatible with aqueous pigment-based inks as well as solvent-based formulations. PrintGuard Lacquer is applied with a brush or roller and can be thinned down to the desired consistency using our own PrintGuard thinner. It is available in gloss or satin finishes as well as your choice of fast or slow dry formulations. The fast dry product will freeze your brushstrokes, producing a hand-finished artisan effect. The slow dry finish levels out to produce a smooth protective sheen.
