12/1/2007 - PhotoChrome Pro launched for Epson 4800 and 7800/9800
After a long and successful field test, Lyson have now officially launched the PhotoChrome Pro ink set for the Epson Stylus Pro 4800, 7800 and 9800. PhotoChrome Pro features an entirely new pigment formulation which produces uniformly high gloss levels throughout the colour spectrum. This reduces the gloss differential seen on other pigmented inks on high gloss and satin papers. PhotoChrome Pro also features groundbreaking black density levels which comfortably exceed the OEM, low metamerism, and neutral shaded greys which improve the quality of black and white reproduction. Fade resistance is assured with an expected display life of over 100 years (blue wool 7-8 rating). PhotoChrome Pro is available in 220ml compatible cartridges.
